Nurses In Your Home

At Home Nursing Care is licensed by the California Department of Public Health as a Home Health Agency. This means we can offer a higher level of care than the vast majority of our competitors, the kinds of in home nursing services that personal care attendants cannot do.

In addition, we are accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care. This is a voluntary extra step which signals that we adhere to stringent national standards for quality client outcomes, staff training and safety. Our compassionate in home care nurses complete twelve hours of continuing education and training each year, and we promote and adhere to best practices and protocols for in home nursing.

Clients may request LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) or RN (Registered Nurse) level of care depending in the services they need. We specialize in medication management, working to eliminate medication errors which cause 40% of all hospital re-admissions.

Some of the in home medical care services we provide include:

  • Medication sorting and pill box filling
  • Medication Administration
  • Wound care and dressings
  • G-Tube feedings
  • Injections and Diabetes Management
  • Constant Safety Monitoring
  • Nurse Case Management

Does my loved one need a caregiver or a nurse?

In this short video, At Home Nursing Care explains the difference between having a caregiver or a nurse at home to support the best in home care for yourself or someone you love.

Our nurses are licensed, bonded, insured, and they are passionate about providing the highest quality of care. This so called “skilled nursing care” compliments our non-medical care services and helps to ensure the highest quality of life for our patients.

The first step is to call or contact our Los Angeles or San Diego home health care services so we can assess the best course of action to fit your needs. A nurse or supervisor will conduct an in home assessment and meet with the potential client to learn about their condition, concerns and preferences.  Then we select the right match from our roster of quality employees.   Our nurse can help you decide how much care and what kind of care would be best to enhance your loved one’s quality of life.
