At Home Nursing Care’s Superior Training for Caregivers

Many families are faced with confusing choices when a loved one confronts a medical emergency or a decline in independence due to an illness or chronic condition. At Home Nursing Care San Diego and Los Angeles offer a superior level of care and commitment to our clients.

Our mission to help our clients live a better life at home with compassionate and trustworthy in home care is supported by our superior training and supervision of our employees. We work hard to make sure our employees are equipped to meet our clients’ in home care needs.

Upon hire, our caregivers, in home nurses and supervisors complete six hours of initial training, and then are assigned 12 hours of training each year. Some of the topics include infection control, providing care to diverse clients, excellent customer service, ethics training, emergency preparedness, safety in transfers, and more.

We have an extensive library of classes for clients for the various diseases and conditions our clients face including Alzheimer’s and dementia care, how to help clients with Parkinson’s Disease, ALS, those recovering from a stroke, how to professionally bathe a client, how to use a Hoyer lift and more.
