At Home Nursing Care, Inc. is proud to announce we are newly credentialed with the Community Care Network of the VA Health System.  This allows our agency to provide respite, home health aide or homemaker care to veterans throughout San Diego County.  We will be adding LA county in the next month.

“With my own father-in-law serving as a Navy Captain with a 27-year career, I’m grateful to be able to offer quality in home services to the veterans who have given so much to preserve our safety and security,” commented agency owner Lauren Reynolds.

Service members and veterans can request in home care through their VA doctor, social worker, or care manager.  The hours authorized depend on the amount of help the veteran needs with activities of daily living, not a veteran’s financial situation.  The care is authorized and paid for by the VA Health System.

Hours of care allowed may range from 6 to 16 weekly but can be up to 168 hours or full-time care, when necessary, based on physical needs. The VA will pay our nurse to provide an in-home evaluation, create a care plan and supervise the care provided with visits every sixty days.

At Home Nursing Care plans to publicize our new credentials through our Swing into Summer baseball themed campaign, where we’ll be providing fresh popcorn, cotton candy and hot dogs at community events this summer. If you are a veteran’s services partner and would like to host one of our Swing into Summer events, we welcome you to contact us.
